A Gap in the Fog, for About Four Minutes

I overheard two colleagues whilst taking early coffee at the society, discussing, with some trepidation, Kuraq Pacha. My ear was caught as I had not heard that name since my time spent with the Ayllu-Marka people in certain dark corners of the Andeas Mountains. The indigenous people worship this entity, which they consider to be the very earth we walk on. The fear of Pachamana is ingrained in their life, not as one fears a predator, but more like a child may fear a quick tempered parent.
